Frequently Asked Questions
It depends on a few things, mainly your home and your homes requirements as well as what you prefer.
Bifold doors are great for creating an inside outside feel to a property, and can really open up your home. Sliding doors tend to allow better views when closed as they have less uPVC or aluminium showing along with bigger glass panes. French style doors will allow for a larger opening than a sliding door as both sides can be opened which is great if you ever need to move larger objects in or out of the house.
We offer a range of patio door styles;

All of our patio door types can be made using either uPVC or aluminium. Typically we find that most of the Bi-fold doors we supply and fit are aluminium, sliding doors are uPVC or aluminium depending and French doors are uPVC.
Our patio doors come with a PAS certification along with multiple features that ensure security, these include;
Multi-point locking mechanism; which offer locking points around the frame making it much more difficult to force entry.
Internal beading; this means that the glass for the window is inserted on the inside of the window frame (inside your home) rather than the outside, meaning it can only be removed from the inside. Traditionally windows were beaded externally however with improved security features on the frames it makes more sense for the windows to be internally beaded.
Key operated handles; which allow you to lock the window which further increases the difficulty when trying to force entry externally.
Secured by design; this is an official UK Police scheme and certification, which recognises high levels of security amongst a variety of home-improvement products, including our windows.
As your patio door or doors will be bespoke to your home they need to be manufactured from scratch. This means that lead time can vary depending on size, sections, number of doors etc. you require along with how many orders our factory is currently processing. However, typical lead time from survey to fitting is usually 8 – 10 weeks.
Rather than spend a fortune on state of the art showrooms and putting that cost onto our customers by charging higher prices, we decided to avoid it altogether and focus on creating an amazing, easy, hassle free online experience. This decision allows us to offer our customers the best quality products available at fair and competitive prices.
